Bolton Center School – 2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

Bolton Center School will hold Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year in the Main Office starting Monday, February 26^th.  Parents will need to contact the main office at 860-643-2411 and speak with Judy Ramsdell to schedule an appointment for registration.  We encourage parents to access the registration forms online via our website (www.boltonpublicschools.com) and complete them prior to coming to the school office. 

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to be eligible.  Please bring the following documents:

• Child’s Birth Certificate
• Proof of parent’s residency (see Bolton Residency Requirements on our web-site)
• Current immunization and physical information

Other important dates:
Please check back regarding final dates for the following informational meetings.  

• In May 16th will be the incoming kindergarten parent meeting from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., via  zoom.
• May 30th will be the school visit/screening which will be held in two sessions 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• August 27th will be the teacher meet & greet and bus ride

• Verification of student's age (to include but not be limited to):
  • Photocopy of child's birth certificate
  • Earlier school records
  • State issued identification documents
  • Parent's affidavit or unsworn statement as to student's age
  • Physician's certificate verifying student's age
  • Immunization records
• Proof of parent's residency  (see Bolton Residency Requirements)
• Student Residency Affidavit(if applicable)
• Certificate of Residency (if applicable)
